The upcoming IPEF negotiating round will be held in Singapore May 8-15, 2023. U.S. Treasury is bringing technical-level staff to IPEF for negotiations on financial sector equities, including cross-border data flows, digital trade, and domestic regulation. The U.S.-ASEAN Business Council is organizing a roundtable discussion for Treasury’s financial services negotiators to discuss members’ financial sector priorities in the IPEF region, cross border data issues, and developments in the cloud services and financial services space.
