Breakfast Briefing with Chairman and Members of Indonesian Parliament Commission I

We are pleased to extend an invitation from the Embassy of Indonesia for a breakfast briefing with Chairman Abdul Kharis Almasyhari from Commission 1 of Indonesia's House of Representatives (DPR) on cyber security, broadcasting, data localization and OTT, among others. Vice Chairman Satya Widya Yudha will also join the briefing, with a number of parliamentarians from the same committee. 

Commission 1 DPR oversees information and foreign affairs, defense, and military intelligence (similar functions to the Foreign Relations Committee, Intelligence, Committee and Armed Services Committee in the US Senate). A direct engagement is a valuable opportunity to understand the Indonesian parliament's priorities for Indonesia's policy shaping platform going forward.
