The U.S. Government and the Government of Indonesia welcome private sector participation during the upcoming Trade and Investment Framework Agreement talks, scheduled for September 18, 2015 in Washington, D.C. The Indonesian delegation will be led by Bachrul Chairi, Director General for International Trade Cooperation at the Ministry of Trade.
Please send by COB, Wednesday, September 16 any specific issues/concerns you plan to raise with the Indonesian Government Delegation to nobermann@uschamber.com and astuart@usasean.org. We will pass this information on to the delegation in advance of the meeting.
Following the official TIFA meetings, Christine Brown, Director for Southeast Asia & Pacific Affairs at USTR, will brief the private sector on the outcomes on Monday, September 21, 3:00-4:00PM at the US-ASEAN Business Council. An invitation for that briefing will follow separately.
