U.S. Business Mission to East Java with U.S. Ambassador to Indonesia, the Honorable Robert Blake

U.S. Ambassador to Indonesia Robert O. Blake will lead a Business Outreach Delegation to East Java on March 22-23, 2016. In East Java, Ambassador Blake will lead the delegation of U.S. companies in meetings and other events with regional government and business leaders to learn about trade and investment opportunities in Indonesia’s second largest city of Surabaya and surrounding provinces. In addition, delegates can participate in an evening networking reception and site visit.

The U.S. Embassy to Indonesia’s Business Outreach series aims to promote closer trade and investment ties between the United States and Indonesia by exploring commercial opportunities outside of Jakarta, highlighting the benefits to Indonesia of our existing trade and investment, and supporting regional business leaders’ efforts to build relationships with American counterparts. Previous outreach events have included Balikpapan, Bandung, Batam and Yogyakarta. U.S. firms from a many industry sectors are expected to attend including agriculture, ICT, healthcare, infrastructure and energy.
