The 3rd High-Speed Rail Symposium - Malaysia

Hosted by: Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT);  Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA); Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI);  Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO); Japan Railway Technical Service (JARTS); Japan Overseas Railway System Association (JORSA)

The Symposium will demonstrate how the shinkansen, Japanese High-Speed rail can contribute to the Kuala Lumpur - Singapore High Speed Rail project.
Malaysia's Minister of Transport will make the opening address and senior Officials from a consortium of nine Japanese firms will then present the matchmaking session with discussion on services/equipment. The consortium is seeking to incorporate from potential international partners, including US companies.
