2019 SME Program Evaluation Call

The Council is pleased to invite you to the initial call for the 2019 SME Program Evaluation on Friday, October 18 at 08.30-09.30 AM (SGT) or Thursday, October 17 at 08.30-09.30 PM (EST).

The Council's SME Program aspires to support ASEAN Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in harnessing digital tools to scale-up the business and intra-regional trade. Since 2011, over 7,000 SMEs in all ten ASEAN Countries have benefitted from the US-ABC's in-country capacity-building program as well as the online-based ASEAN SME Academy.

The call aims to review the Council's 2019 SME Programming Report and to seek inputs from Members in developing the Council's 2020 SME Work Plan. The Work Plan maps out the series of initiatives with a focus on improving SME digital capabilities and regional competitiveness. The call will also discuss possible SME advocacy program and stakeholder engagements in 2020.
