The US-ASEAN Business Council, together with the Ministry of Cooperative and Small and Medium Enterprises (CSME) will organize a workshop titled, “Digital Tools for SMEs” in Jakarta, November 28.
The Council, under the aegis of the US-ASEAN Business Alliance for Competitive SMEs, a joint project of the US-ASEAN Business Council and USAID, has benefited over 4,500 entrepreneurs in all 10 ASEAN countries. This is the third workshop that the Council organizes in Indonesia, with the first and second workshop held in 2012 and 2014 respectively.
The main objective of the workshop is to share policy and program updates, experience and network building to support SMEs readiness for the international reach. The event will feature speakers from U.S multinational companies with expert on the use of social media and digital platform for marketing and sales, financial service management, and e-supply chain strategic in the region. The companies will present together with their local partner of SME promoting the succesful practises of digital application in their businesses.
