Roundtable with Mayor of Bandung, Ridwan Kamil (EVENT FULL)

Please join us for a roundtable with one of Indonesia's rising stars, the Mayor of Bandung, Ridwan Kamil. 

Kamil was elected as Mayor of Bandung on June 23, 2013. He is an Indonesian architect and lecturer at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). Kamil graduated from ITB and also earned a master's in Urban Design at the University of California, Berkeley and worked for 7 years in NY, San Francisco, and Hong Kong.   In 2003 he returned to Indonesia and established his own architecture and design firm, Urbane Indonesia.  

Since his election in 2013, Kamil has initiated numerous festivals and other events to grow the creative economy of Bandung. He is also using several "smart city and green city" concepts to improve the his citizens' quality of life. Kamil will be in the US to attend the World Cities Summit and meet with investors and business partners interested in investing in Bandung and its people.
