Roundtable with Kimberly Heimert, Vice President & General Counsel, OPIC

In this briefing session OPIC's products and programs to support private sector investments in emerging markets will be introduced and explained: these include loans and loan guaranties, political risk insurance, and private equity. 
 
With these products OPIC has catalyzed over $200 billion of investment in emerging markets around the world and supported U.S. private sector participation in the development of those economies. OPIC is active in a wide range of sectors, from infrastructure to manufacturing to microfinance. 
 
Its Bangkok regional office, opened in late 2014, reflects a commitment to expanding such support in the Asia Pacific region. The visit of Ms. Kimberly Heimert, OPIC's General Counsel who will conduct this session, similarly reflects OPIC's commitment to Indonesia.  Insights on how OPIC approaches and mitigates political risks and other financing and investment challenges around the world will be shared.
