The US-ASEAN Business Council and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce are pleased to invite you to attend a debrief on their recent Trade and Investment Framework Agreement (TIFA) talks in Southeast Asia. Christine Brown, Director of Southeast Asia at USTR, will brief the private sector on issues raised during the official Philippine (March 14-15, 2016), Indonesia (April 11-12, 2016) and Thailand (April 20-21, 2016) TIFA meetings.
Ms. Brown covers trade and investment issues related to Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and ASEAN regional issues. Prior to joining USTR, Ms. Brown served as an International Trade Specialist in the International Trade Administration's Office of Trade Agreements and Compliance where she worked on a variety of issues, including customs and trade facilitation, import licensing, standards, and sanitary and phytosanitary measures. Ms. Brown received her MA from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies and her B.A. from Tufts University.
