The Council would like to forward you an invitation for the Mandiri Investment Forum 2020 with its key theme of "Indonesia: Advancing Investment-Led Growth". Running for its ninth year, the annual investment forum –– co-hosted by Bank Mandiri and Mandiri Sekuritias, and supported by the Indonesian Coordinating Board (BKPM) –– aims to deliver the opportunity for investors to hear important issues directly from prominent speakers. The forum will be divided into two separate event: Macro Day and Corporate Day.
MACRO DAY (Wednesday, February 5, 2020)
In Macro Day forum, you will be provided insights upon the opportunities and challenges of investing in Indonesia and elaborate business prospects. The Macro Day will grant you special access to the presentations by top-notch ministers, central bankers, and business leaders, who will present their views regarding investment climate, business opportunities, as well as the latest economic condition in Indonesia and throughout the region.
CORPORATE DAY (Thursday, February 6, 2020)
The Corporate Day will focus on one-on-one interaction between the management of mid/large-cap Indonesian companies, government officials from BKPM (including Chairman Bahlil Lahadalia), and institutional investors. Given that there will be an exclusive meeting with BKPM officials through a session called the Investment Clinic, the Council would like to kindly request you to fill out the attached form outlining the concerns and specific questions that would like to be raised and discussed with BKPM officials during the Investment Clinic should you wish to attend. Please return the form to us no longer than Friday, January 31, 2020.
Overall, the Mandiri Investment Forum 2020 is an excellent opportunity for foreign companies that wish to explore the possibilities of investment in Indonesia, as well as for foreign companies in Indonesia that would like to further and expand its investments within the country.
