The IEA is conducting a peer review of Indonesia’s energy policies. The IEA team will hold discussions with all stakeholders in Indonesia and on this basis provide recommendations for Indonesia’s future energy policy.
The meetings will be sector focused.
The first sector-focused meeting is for the Oil and Gas Industry and is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, March 11, from 4:45pm – 6:15pm. All major private sector players on oil & gas (upstream and downstream) issues are invited to participate.
Target participants are senior management and high-level technical experts as the team will have in-depth questions on issues where participants will require the necessary clearance to go into details. Representatives from the Indonesian Petroleum Association (IPA) will also be invited. All discussions are according to Chatham House rules meaning no participant’s statements will be mentioned by name or quoted.
Another meeting will be planned on electricity issues with the industry- more details to follow.
