The US – ASEAN Business Council is pleased to organize the first Global Supply Chain Integration Training Workshop for Vietnamese businesses in Hanoi in coordination with the USAID-funded ASEAN Connectivity through Trade and Investment (ACTI) project and the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council (VWEC).
Participants: About 130 owners and senior executives from Vietnamese companies, most of them small to medium businesses (SMEs) in and around Hanoi in such industries as hospitality, tourism, restaurants, training and education, health care, sports, entertainment, insurance, manufacturing, apparel and footwear, food processing, seafood, agriculture. Many of these SMEs produce for exports.
The workshop is part of the ongoing region-wide US-ASEAN Business Alliance initiative started by the Council a few years ago in response to calls for assistance from regional government leaders to help improve the competitiveness of ASEAN SMEs. The workshop will invite speakers from US companies to share experience and business tools to help the SMEs increase their efficiency and productivity to join the global supply chain as Vietnam gets ready for the new-generation free trade agreements (FTAs) such as the EU – Vietnam FTA and the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP).

Gold sponsor: $2,000. Benefits include acknowledgement by organizers in welcome and concluding remarks, primary company logo on workshop signage and materials and speaking slots. Gold sponsors can also invite their customers to the workshop.
Silver sponsor: $1,000. Benefits include acknowledgement by organizers in welcome and concluding remarks, company logo on workshop signage and speaking slots.
