Energy Committee Quarterly Call

Please join us for the first Energy Committee Quarterly Call of 2017.

During the first part of the call, Ms. Kathryn Clarke, Energy Efficiency Officer in the Office of Electricity and Energy Efficiency at the U.S. State Department's Bureau of Energy Resources, will speak about the U.S. Government's initiative to encourage the adoption of harmonized Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) for certain appliances in ASEAN.  Ms. Clarke will also speak about plans to expand the adoption of MEPS to other sectors, as well as broader efforts to encourage increased energy efficiency in the region through the harmonization and increased enforcement of standards.  She will also provide a readout on a recent trip she conducted to Thailand and Vietnam focusing on these issues.

The second part of the call will be devoted to discussing the Energy Committee's upcoming programs and priorities for 2017.
