The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and the Intellectual Property Office of the United Kingdom (IPO), in conjunction with Singapore’s IP Week @ SG 2015, present the program “Breaking Barriers: Intellectual Property and the Value for Society”. This program, held Monday, August 24, 2015 at Singapore’s Grand Copthorne Hotel, will feature five sessions covering important patent, trademark and copyright topics, paired with real world examples, that highlight ways a comprehensive intellectual property rights (IPR) system promotes global social progress. Presenters include the past president of the International Trademark Association (INTA), senior officials from General Electric, the UN Economic and Social Committee for Asia and the Pacific, and the International AntiCounterfeiting Coalition (IACC), ASEAN based legal practitioners, university leaders and seminal IP owners, and many more.
Registration is free and open to the general public and directed to an audience of business leaders, inventor and attorney groups, IP office officials, and other government officials.
