The U.S. APEC Business Coalition invites you to a discussion on the outcomes of the recent APEC Leaders and Ministers meetings in Manila and a preview of the agenda for 2016 when APEC will be hosted by the government of Peru.
Representatives from the State Department, the Office of the United States Trade Representative and the National Center for APEC will discuss U.S. deliverables from APEC 2015 and initial plans for APEC 2016 in areas including digital economy, health, investment, women’s economic empowerment, food, energy, services, trade facilitation and more. In addition, incoming APEC Business Advisory Council Chairman Juan Raffo and 2016 CEO Summit Chairman Alfonso Bustamante will outline the APEC business agenda from the Latin America perspective and discuss opportunities for private sector engagement in the range of APEC meetings that will be held during 2016. The speakers will also share the outcomes of the APEC Informal Senior Officials’ Meeting, APEC’s annual agenda-setting session, that will be held on December 10-11.
