DESCRIPTION:Following our recent Business Mission to Vietnam and in preparation for our upcoming Food & Agriculture Industry Mission to Vietnam\, the Council is pleased to invite you to a roundtable with a Vietnamese delegation of government officials from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) and Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT). \n\n\n\nThe group will include:\n\n1. Dr. Nguyen Nhu Tiep\, Director General\, NAFIQAD\, MARD\n\n2. Mr. Nguyen Hong Duong\, Deputy Director General\, America Market Department\, MOIT\n\n3. Mr. Pham Quang Huy\, Deputy Head of Division\, International Cooperation Department\, MARD\n\n 4. Ms. To Tuong Lan\, Deputy Secretary General\, Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP)\n\n\n\nTopics of discussion will include agriculture-fishery trade\, sanitary-safety standards and practices\, U.S. and Vietnam policies on agricultural trade\, and how the U.S. and Vietnam can cooperate in the future on sustainable trade in this sector.\n\n\n\nFor questions\, please contact Hai Pham at hpham@usasean.org
