DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a roundtable with Ms. Melissa Brown\, the incoming Deputy Representative of the U.S. Mission to ASEAN. The roundtable will be an excellent opportunity to raise with Ms. Brown the issues that U.S. companies are facing in ASEAN prior to her deployment to her new post in August. The Council highly encourages member companies that are interested in addressing issues at the regional-level-level to attend the roundtable.\n\n\n\nMs. Brown is currently the Counselor for Political and Economic Affairs at the U.S. Embassy in Singapore. will officially arrive at post in August of this year. Before arriving in Singapore\, she was assigned to Jakarta\, Indonesia\, as the Trade and Investment Unit Chief in U.S. Embassy Jakarta's Economic Section from 2011 to 2015. Previously\, she was posted to Washington DC\, where she was detailed to the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) as Director for Southeast Asia.
