DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a meeting with the Hon. Dakila Carlo E. Cua\, Chairperson of the Ways and Means Committee in the Philippine House of Representatives\, to discuss the proposed second package of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN 2). The Ways and Means Committee is currently deliberating TRAIN 2 and is seeking input from the private sector on how key provisions could affect the business environment. These provision include\, among others: \n\n\n	The gradual reduction of the Corporate Income Tax\; and\n	The rationalization of investment incentives to make them time-bound and performance-based.  \n\n\nMore information on Congressman Cua can be found here.\n\n \n\nThe meeting is a follow-up to a letter that the Council submitted to Congressman Cua that contained member company input on TRAIN 2. Congressman Cua requested private sector feedback on TRAIN 2 when our delegation met with him during the 2018 Philippines Business Mission.\n\n \n\nIf you would like to attend the meeting\, please register before COB Tuesday\, May 29.
