SUMMARY:First Planning Call for the 2019 Mission to the ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting (AMEM)
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the first planning call for the 2019 Business Mission to the ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting (AMEM).\n\n\n\nDuring the first part of the call\, Ms. Erica Keen Thomas\, Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Energy Resources (official bio available here)\, will provide a briefing on the U.S. Government's (USG) priorities for engaging the ASEAN Energy Ministers during the 37th AMEM in Thailand next month. She will also discuss how USG's participation in this year's AMEM ties into the Asia EDGE (Enhancing Development and Growth through Energy) initiative. A short Q&A will follow the briefing. \n\n\n\nThe second part of the call will focus on the 2019 Business Mission to AMEM. We will discuss the proposed themes for the mission and the meeting targets. We will also go over the preliminary logistics of the mission. More details on the 2019 Business Mission to AMEM\, including a link to register\, can be found here.
