SUMMARY:Discussion with Vietnam Customs
DESCRIPTION:The purpose of this meeting is to share experiences the private sector has had working with Vietnam Customs. This could include providing ideas on what US-CBP does in terms of AEO/CBP to make things easier for US traders\, given that the focus of the Vietnam Customs' study tour is on the US-CBP Customs-Business and Authorized Economic Operators programs. Vietnam Customs would also be interested in hearing the private sector's experiences with other Customs services in their global operations.\n\n\n\nThis meeting is a component of a study tour under the ASW Project to meet with US-CBP and other relevant organizations on developing customs-business partnerships\, vis-a-vis transparent\, uniform processes and procedures and the concept of the trusted trader with an emphasis on building and leveraging voluntary compliance systems.
