DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a briefing with Jim Della-Giacoma\, the South East Asia Project Director for the International Crisis Group. Mr. Della-Giacoma will discuss his view of the situation in Southeast Asia\, with a particular focus on Myanmar\, and the ongoing programs of ICG.\n\n\n\nHis bio is as follows:\n\n\n\nAs Crisis Group's South East Asia project director\, Jim Della-Giacoma oversees the organisation's work in this region\, including staff based in Indonesia\, Thailand\, and Timor-Leste. His areas of expertise include elections\, democratic development and security sector reform. Prior to joining Crisis Group in April 2009\, he served as associate director at the Conflict Prevention and Peace Forum from 2006 2009 and as a senior advisor to the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs from 2003 2006.
