DESCRIPTION:Dear Members\, \n\nThe Council is pleased to invite members to join the first US-ABC Business Mission to AEM 1st Planning Call on Thursday\, August 29\, 2019 from 08.30 AM - 09.30 AM (SGT)/Wednesday\, August 28\, 2019 from 08.30 PM - 09.30 PM (EST).\n\n\n\nDuring the first part of the call\, Mr. Karl Ehlers\, Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for the Office of Southeast Asia and the Pacific\, Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (official bio available here)\, will provide a briefing on the U.S. Government's (USG) priorities for engaging the ASEAN Economic Minister during the 51st AEM Meeting in Thailand next month. A short Q&A will follow the briefing.  \n\n \n\nThe second part of the call we will focus on the 2019 Business Mission to AEM Meeting. We will discuss about the planning for AEM - USTR Consultation\, updating bilateral meeting request\, logistic requirement and present the preparation annual US-ABC Business Mission to AEM and US-ABC/USTR with the AEM in Bangkok on September 8 - 10\, 2019. \n\n\n\nPlease contact Riley Smith at rsmith@usasean.org and Mario Masaya at mmasaya@usasean.org with any questions\, or to propose a topic for discussion.
