DESCRIPTION:Registration link: https://www.usasean.org/mission/registration\n\nThe US-ASEAN Business Council is registering senior-level executives for its 2022 Virtual Mission to the 25th Meeting of the ASEAN Tourism Ministers (25th M-ATM) taking place virtually Monday\, 17 January 2022 to Friday\, 21 January 2022 hosted by Cambodia. Please note that the 25th M-ATM will be held in person for ASEAN Tourism Ministers in Sihanoukville\, Cambodia and virtually with external partners like the U.S.-ASEAN Business Council. The mission will consist of an annual plenary session with the Tourism Ministers and/or National Tourism Organizations (NTOs) and will propose bilateral meetings with ASEAN Tourism Ministers\, ASEAN+3 Tourism Ministers\, and the U.S. Embassy in Phnom Penh.\n\n\n\nThis will be the Council's 5th consecutive mission and engagement with ASEAN Tourism Ministers and NTOs since 2018. The mission will focus on the following themes:\n\n1. Ensuring inclusion of tourism sector COVID-19 response and recovery strategies\,\n\n2. Supporting safe travel and travel reopening\,\n\n3. Accelerating digital transformation for tourism resilience and sustainability\,\n\n4. Promoting ASEAN as a single travel destination during endemic COVID  \n\n\n\nProposed topics for discussion include:\n\n\n	Key insights/ statistics for inbound tourism and customer behavior trends (e.g. more domestic travel\, increased adoption of digital payment options)\n	Informed decision-making and best practices for ASEAN to consider in the reopening of travel (i.e. harmonization of testing and quarantine requirements\, driving domestic and international demand\, business travel\, and MICE)\n	Support for ASEAN Tourism MSMEs and workers\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe deadline for early bird registration and submission of materials is Tuesday\, January 4 COB.
