| The US-ASEAN Business Council would like to invite you to the 2021 Virtual Business Mission to the 43rd \;ASEAN Ministerial Meeting of Agriculture and Forestry (AMAF). \;The Plenary session will take place virtually on \;Wednesday\, October 20. \;The mission will include a presentation by the F&\;A Committee to the 10 ASEAN Agriculture Ministers during the Plenary session and will \;propose bilateral meetings with priority ASEAN Agricultural Ministries. This year\, on the sidelines of the AMAF\, the Council will organize a \;joint virtual ASEAN-wide workshop on Safe Nutritious Food in collaboration \;with Crop Life Asia and EU-ABC. \n \n This is the Council'\;s 7th \;consecutive mission to the AMAF\, and the mission continues a critical part of our yearly engagements in ASEAN. The themes of the mission will be centered on how ASEAN can adapt to \;improve food safety\, sustainability\, and security to facilitate the region'\;s economic recovery. It will also be an opportunity for members to raise crucial issues facing the F&\;A space\, such as the promulgation of new agri-technologies\, \;the promotion of intra- and extra-ASEAN agricultural trade\, improving \;the well-being and productivity of \;agricultural communities\, and above all\, fostering public-private collaboration on food systems. | \n
