SUMMARY:2020 SME Workshop in Thailand (Postponed)
DESCRIPTION:The US-ASEAN Business Council (the Council) is pleased to invite you to sponsor our  Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Workshop entitled "Enhancing Thailand SMEs? Entrepreneurial Competitiveness in Digital Commerce Era"\, which will be held in Bangkok\, Thailand\, on April 7\, 2020. The event will be conducted in close collaboration with the Office of SMEs Promotion (OSMEP) Thailand and the Thammasat University Thailand.\n\n\n\nAccording to a study "e-Conomy SEA 2018"\, Thailand will have 59 million internet users by 2025\, or 84% of the population. E-commerce opportunities are expected to reach $13 billion in valuation\, compare with $0.9 billion in 2015. The Council is committed to helping the Thai e-Commerce businesses to grow and reap the benefit of e-commerce opportunities by conducting this workshop. It aims to boost Thailand's SMEs? digital competitiveness and increase their access to regional e-commerce. \n\n \n\nPlease find attached file of the preliminary agenda for your perusal.\n\n\nParticipants:\n\n\n	Around 100 - 150 owners and senior executives around Bangkok and neighboring cities\;\n	Outreach will be conducted in partnership with government and local trade organizations such as OSMEP\, the Thammasat University\, and local associations.\n\n Workshop Format\n\n\n	Training session. A 45-60 minutes training session which member companies will present on what SMEs can adopt and utilize smart technologies to enhance their business operations and access to global e-commerce and global value chain\;\n	Clinic session. A one-on-one session with member companies.
