SUMMARY:2017 Singapore Business Mission
DESCRIPTION:The US-ASEAN Business Council is registering senior-level executives for its annual Business Mission to Singapore on May 8-9\, 2017. The early bird deadline for receipt of registration and mission materials is Monday\, April 24\, 2017. Any registrations after this date will incur a late fee.\n\n\n\nClick Here to Register for the Mission\n\n\n\nMission Themes:\n\nThe mission themes for the 2017 Singapore Business Mission will be framed within the context of the Smart Nation initiative and implementing the recommendations of the Committee on the Future Economy (CFE) two signature initiatives of the Government of Singapore (GOS).  \n\n\n\nTo emphasize how U.S. companies can help the GOS achieve benchmarks and deliverables for these two initiatives\, the 2017 Singapore Business Mission will focus on:  \n\n	Tax and regulatory reform that is pro-growth and promotes innovation\, experimentation\, and regular stakeholder consultative engagement.\n	Enhancing vibrant ecosystems for priority future economy and Smart Nation sectors (digital economy\, fintech\, transportation\, and healthcare) by: \n	\n		Improving the utilization of data (especially sharing and storage) across sectors\;\n		Expanding access and enabling the use of innovative technologies (e.g. cloud computing\, IoT\, ect.).\n	\n	\n	Increased engagement with GOS initiatives and educational institutions to support human capital development and meet the skills needs for priority future economy and Smart Nation sectors.\n	Engaging with the GOS to help it prepare for Singapore's 2018 ASEAN Chairmanship.  This would include: \n	\n		Proposing priority issues for GOS's 2018 agenda\;\n		Engaging GOS and USG to help spread best practices in Smart Cities programs and the fintech\, e-commerce\, healthcare\, transportation\, energy\, and digital economy sectors to other ASEAN countries.\n	\n	\n\nFor information on meetings and pricing\, please contact Sunita Kapoor at skapoor@usasean.org and Riley Smith at rsmith@usasean.org.
