TELMIN carries out the four objectives of the e-ASEAN Framework Agreement\, mainly to (a) to develop\, strengthen and enhance the competitiveness of the ICT sector\; (b) reduce the digital divide within and amongst ASEAN Member Countries\; (c) promote cooperation between the public and private sectors\; (d) develop ASEAN Information Infrastructure. \n\n\n\nThis mission will be our first engagement with the TELMIN. The Council is proposing to have a one hour presentation and dialogue with the ministers\, as well as presentations from select member companies. We have sent a letter and proposal for this engagement to the TELMIN Chair Cambodia\, and it is currently under consideration. We will also request individual bilateral meetings with ministers from key priority countries\, such as Indonesia\, Malaysia\, Singapore\, Vietnam and Thailand. \n\n\n\nPlease note that the deadline for submission of registration and delegate names is Thursday\, 16 November\, 2017.
