SUMMARY:2015 Infrastructure Technology Capacity Building Seminar in Philippines
DESCRIPTION:Infrastructure Technology Capacity Building Seminar in Philippines\n\nOne of the Infrastructure Committee's key advocacy messages is the value of incorporating technology in the design and construction of hard infrastructure projects. In alignment with this message and following up from the Council's Infrastructure Industry Mission to the Philippines on October 24\, 2014\, the committee will be organizing an "Infrastructure Technology Capacity Building Seminar in Philippines" on July 28\, 2015. This one day event will take place in Manila and is now open for registration from interested companies.\n\n\n\nWhat the Infrastructure Technology Capacity Building Seminar Will Accomplish?\n\nA one-day seminar style conference where companies offer capacity building discussions on world-class technological solutions available for infrastructure development to an audience of key Philippines government officials from the following organizations: \n\n\n	Department of Budget and Management\n	Department of Education\n	Department of Energy\n	Department of Public Works and Highways\n	Department of Science and Technology\n	Department of Transportation and Communications\n	National Economic and Development Authority\n	National Irrigation Administration\n	Office of Presidential Assistant for Rehabilitation and Recovery\n	Philippines National Railway\n	Philippines Public-Private Partnership Center\n\nThis is an opportunity for companies to offer software solutions and best practices for addressing challenges of delivering complex infrastructure projects on or ahead of schedule and budget. Whilst this is not an opportunity to make sales pitches\, this seminar is a platform to educate and inform the audience about technological solutions which could help enhance the ability of the Philippines to meet key infrastructure goals. Company specific solutions should be presented as examples and/or as part of case studies.\n\n\n\nBy leveraging the expertise of participating companies\, this seminar aims to position itself as a trusted advisor to key ministries and officials that oversee infrastructure development.\n\n\n\nRegistration\, Planning and Logistics:\n\nPlease register at the link provided above. Two pre-seminar planning calls will be convened to discuss the seminar agenda and topics. We hope that you will join us in our efforts to promote the development of policy that supports the inclusive growth of Philippines' economy through infrastructure development.
